The Millionaire Daughter

Aalyiah never knew her father. Her mother hated her and she'd been in and out of the orphanage since she was three. Then, at ten, the unthinkable happened. Someone found her father. But her past haunted her, and the coldness of her father's actions toward her were certainly of no help. Her only wonder, "Will he ever love me?"
It wasn't that Nicholas didn't want to be a good father, deep down he did; he just didn't know how to be. Growing up his own father never showed much care for him or his siblings. So upon the suddenness of becoming a new father to a ten year old girl, he knew no better than to fall into the habits of his father. He tried to be better, and always failed.
