In the underbelly of the Big Apple, where the streets are dirty and caked with blood, a serial killer runs loose. Female bodies litter New York, all killed in the same bizarre way. A way meant to summon fear. To terrorize. He hides in the shadows of the night, but someone wants him found. Wants him behind metal bars with no way out, caged like an animal.
Young FBI agent Octavia Rose has had a tough life. Getting away from her small town in Michigan and coming to New York City was the best thing she ever did... Till secrets start coming out and bodies start piling up. She'll have to find a way to hide her own secrets, ones she buried below the surface, ones that run deeper than just a story that's been told before, diluted by time.
On top of that, dashing gentlemen, Nathan Stevens and Logan Brooke, are everywhere. And she isn't ready to open her heart. It's already shattered but they want to glue it back together, they aren't scared of the mire he might find there. But that's where her skeleton in the closet resides...

The scent of the short teen used to have was gone, replaced with the putrid smell of death and rot that covered the whole room and the killer himself. Blood smudged all over the teen and onto the older man as he attempted to escape. He got hungry and tired. He just wanted to eat and then sleep. He was preparing the girl, cutting her body apart and tearing the flesh off the bones, which is why the room was such a mess with her blood. Now, he had the boy in his hands. The hunger overtook him. The sharp pain of large "canine" teeth being plunged into his neck made Cameron scream. It was cut short, his whole body freezing up as the crazy man sunk his large fangs into his neck, ripping a large chunk of the boy's flesh in between his teeth. The pain only got worse when he felt the killer tug harshly, pulling his flesh out... ----- A gang of delinquents becomes lost in a forest, pursued by a frightening masked figure. He hunts them down individually, resembling a stalking wolf, wielding a crude knife fashioned from animal bones. As they struggle to survive, the teens also grapple with the harsh environment that challenges them. I can't keep the smile off my face as I take my seat on the plane. I slide my bag under the seat and lean back. I close my eyes and let a blissful smile grace my face.
