Sarafine has been dreaming of fire for years.

It started small, a few flickers like candle light, then campfires and fireplaces, but the visions are growing larger. She's been drawn into the flame and she has no idea how to stop it. Her attraction to fire is only getting worse and it scares her.

Outside of her dreams, her best friend is now her worse enemy and tormentor, and all she can think of is ridding herself of her bullies. Until one day she's rescued by a boy who doesn't see her as a freak.

Happy to know someone who accepts her, Sarafine doesn't see the warning signs until it's too late. Now she's being blamed for a series of arsons, and it's up to her to find the real culprit. Even if it means plunging herself into the fire.
