Toshiro, the young Guinness of southern Kriyo Has only Three wishes, to stay in his room, do math, and to never get involved in anything mystical or magical. But that changes when he has no choice but to be part of a tradition that has been for thousands of years. The Royal Genesis Selection, a game where all young adults of age 13, gather together and compete in  4 trials. But before that, Toshiro has the trail of dealing with his new annoyance, Delta.

Delata, is the heir of the Red-Eyed Genesis, his father has trained him for years to be prepared for any trail that comes his way. But sadly, he was not prepared for his mother to bring a new person into their home. with the selection happening only 2 weeks from now, he thanks his mother for giving him a break, and being able to get a new friend. But to his shock, Toshiro wants nothing to do with him. But he is determined to get closer to Toshiro, even thought is feelings start to come to light.

The gay son of a great Dragoneye and a boy who fails to accept that logic cannot exist everywhere, and with a great shadow starting to cast over the land, what will pervail? The darkness, or the shine of the white mirror.
