Planaria tells the story of a 17-year-old orphan, Austin, who bears the name of a boy. She gets caught up in a drastic change when a classmate leaves behind a note indicating for her to save him right after he goes missing. 

Alongside working with a detective she soon realizes she can't trust anyone easily, even those who claim to care as she begins finding secrets that accommodate the opposite of caring. But the closer she gets to narrowing the culprit, the more people die, the greater danger she finds herself in, and the deeper she becomes entangled in the web of deceit.

Austin, on the other hand, is in no position to judge as she herself contains secrets. Secrets that may or may not be connected to the sudden disappearance of her classmate.
