Ant McPartlin 22, is at the top of his game as the nations most loved Geordie presenter, he's agreed to host the first season of a new show Pop Idol and is glad he did when his attention is drawn to a small shy boy with one heck of a voice.
Declan Donnelly is a young talented busker who's been looking for his big break. Auditions for a new style of talent contest opens up near where he's been staying so mustering up all his courage he decides to give it a go.
After everything both boys have been through, will the one thing they needed all along be each other? Or will the spotlight blind them from seeing so?
