After Chuuya's brother returns as a ghost and begs him to bring him back to life, Chuuya has no choice but to enter the infamous labyrinth with a rather annoying peer wrapped in bandages.

Dazai has been a resident of this "school" for well over a year and he's got quite the reputation amongst the other "students". After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart.
