Insight: a mortal instruments fanfiction

"my mom once told me the life of a shadow hunter was a difficult one to leave- unfortunately she was right." seventeen year old Faith Willow's story began after her biological mother's death, caused by the images running through her mind driving her to insanity. she was left with and raised by a trusted downworlder family, but there was just one problem. her mother's 'gift' was her own as well. at first they'd thought it was just nightmares, but now she's beginning to realize they are so much more.now juggling the life of a normal mundane child, at her adopted mother's request, she realizes it's getting much harder to stay that way. she is a nephilum, she craves danger, she craves the thrill. with every waking day she faces it, especially with rumors of a down worlder uprising and valentines return. will she keep her promise, or will she be corrupted by the new dangers rising as her mother was?
