"I am my past , the past that made me who I am today. I was a misunderstood child , feeling like nothing , so I turned nothing into something. I pushed through my personal struggles , growing as a person and woman, molding myself into the beautiful , strong , black queen I am today. Throughout life , there have been many bumps and deep cracks along my path, one of the struggles that almost broke me was the repeated molestation I suffered. The pain was almost too much for me to bare, just when I felt like giving up I reminded myself that I am stronger than the trials and tribulations sent to break me! I am a black woman , strong , mighty , powerful; I am far from perfect but I strive every day to be better than I was yesterday, that is what makes me perfectly imperfect, my favorite version of myself.
