18 year old, Anari Smith, lives in a not so safe area of Detroit. She lives with her mother, Diamond, her father, Antonio, and her little sister, Alexis. Anari's parents are always gone. Antonio is a pilot and Diamond is a Flight Attendant. Anari basically takes care of her little sister. Lately, her parents have been gone on more trips and haven't been leaving money for them. Anari is really struggling with the little money she has left. All of her parents family live in Atlanta, so she has no other people to ask for help. She honestly doesn't even want help. She wants to be independent, but her bestfriend won't allow that. There is one more month before Anari has to start her senior year in high school. She has to get a job so she can buy everything Alexis needs to start school, pay bills, keep food in the house, and save up to buy a car.
