Society in this world shared no interest in people who were different, and solely wished to keep it that way. The young were especially targeted in school settings, seeing as they would not have been educated about the different orientation of relations to others.

A sixteen year old girl is neglected by other girls within her secondary school, and the only people who she isn't ridiculed by, are her adoptive family. This girl had flaws like no other, a lava tinted eye which looked to be a condition, but soon discovers it's more than a condition... one she couldn't control. But she finds somebody who can help her control these flaws, but will she have the strength in herself to trust her?

Book three of Country Core Series. From birth, Trinity saw the world differently than her peers. Not that she knew much of her peers in her childhood as she was home-schooled. However, that's all in the past. She has her own business, works hard and all-in-all, she's happy. For the most part, that is. As long as she still has her seclusion for which she has worked hard and values above all else, then she will be fine. If people would just stay away... Leah has been blind her entire life but never let it hold her back as she embraced it with open arms. She hasn't ever known any differently and life is great. Or at least, it could be with these new changes. Moving to a new town, Leah is excited to begin a new life, but her family isn't exactly shy about their protectiveness of her. If only she could be somewhere, anywhere where people would treat her just as they would anyone else. As their paths cross, Leah and Trinity's lives are forever changed, some changes for the better and others still up for debate. People can sometimes surprise us in the most exhilarating of ways, however, and they are just about to find out exactly why. ⚠️ Trigger Warning: This novel contains themes of isolation, drug use and social anxiety. 🥀 Mature/Erotic Content. 🏳️🌈 Lesbian Romance/Lit. 📚 Complete. Hope

3 parts Complete Mature

Kate was used to dealing with unfair consequences. Having a less than ideal home life and no one else to support her, she had learned to deal with things on her own. She had learned not to feel and especially not to hope. So when someone new comes into her life Kate does the best thing she can think of, she shuts them out. But, after a series of events in the course of one day, they are thrown back together, and Kate is given the chance to explain herself. Explain why she was so guarded and why she had closed herself off in the first place. And maybe along the way Kate learns that things aren't always so bad. That feeling and hoping aren't the worst things in the world. ***Warning: Mention of abuse is included in this story. Please don't read if that is a trigger for you in any way.
