Life had a tendency to screw over Lara Watkins, which was a real let down considering the crap her mother had been feeding her since she was two. 'Your teenager years will be the best of your life!' she had cooed. 'It'll be like riding a bike.'

And you know what? She was right. It was exactly like riding a bike. Except the bike was on fire and Lara was on fire and everything was on fire because she was in hell.

But unfortunately, life didn't have a fast forward button, and neither did hell. So, she was stuck in the endless loop. Wake up, school, ballet, eat, sleep, repeat. The cycle was perfectly established and managed by her mother, until the day she threw a wrench into the plan's gears.

She left without looking back, putting Wellston in her rearview mirror.

Lara often complained about her mother, and the endless cycle enforced by her, so she thought she'd be happy without the dictator in her life. Yet she had only left a hole in the place where her heart was supposed to be.

A hole Abby Littman was unknowingly going to fill.
