Angels, a supernatural being that help people in the time of need. Fallen Angels, Angels that have fallen out of heaven and now live on Earth. Some help people, others hurt people. But, all are the same. Why? They are all immortal and live amongst people.

But, what happens when four fallen angels, that can control the elements, are on a quest with a Fallen Archangel to collect something that is very important to keep the people safe. However, there is something bigger than them. Something that is from the other side with the demons.

Can they stand a chance on collecting the sword back? Will love blossom even in the darkest of the times? If they have a choice, will they choose the rise or the fall of the Angels? Will they still try to help, even if they are committing what would be like suicide? Can they escape the chances of being turned into a Shell?

Find out, in Collecting the Sword of Amara.

The Greylands: Modern Edition by SusanSkylark

A land of shadows, of mystery, of obfuscated Truth. Welcome to the Greylands, that strange world, within the bounds of Time, peopled by mortal men. We cannot see truly, only as through a glass, darkly. There are things that move and have their being completely beyond our ability to perceive them. There are things beyond our mortal ability to comprehend. There are hints and glimmers hidden within the body of revealed Truth, but there is much we do not know, cannot yet understand, and could never dare dream. These stories are mere fancy, with a seed of Truth at their core. They play with the ideas of mortality and Eternity, Time and things beyond it, and of course the epic battle of Good against Evil. Each stands alone, and though there are common themes, threads, names, and concepts, each story is an entity unto itself and should not be seen as occurring in the same world or mistaken for installments of a series. These are random musings, not Gospel Truth, and should not be taken as such. Joy, hope, and encouragement are hopefully a byproduct, but certainly not sound Theology. If you would know more of the true world beyond these Greylands, one must be a careful student of the Scriptures, not of silly stories such as these. While still fairytales, these stories are set in modern surroundings rather than the land of Faerie! Each story is unique unto itself, and doesn't reference any other story, world or character elsewhere.
THE DELIVERER'S DESTINY by sarsar14
32 parts Complete Mature
In a world ruled by tyranny, four teens are brought together to embark on a harrowing mission - to find the son of a god. *** "Sometimes some must die in order for the rest of us to survive." Ever since the condemned rebelled, the world of Desmond has been shrouded in darkness. Having ripped the throne away from the Creator Himself, King Motch keeps a firm-taloned grip on his subjects, aided by a ruthless, gifted being known as the Veiled Lady. Families are torn apart as parents are forced to give up their children to be raised by pitiless trainers who groom the children to become brain-washed warriors. All who fight back are dead. In a strict society built on the blood of the people, hope is a rare term. Yet it is still had. Against all odds, four lives are entangled. A timid boy brought from another world, a princess warrior on the run, a young soldier haunted by death and duty, and a slave boy with mysterious gifts - they are brought together to fulfill words spoken long ago: that a Deliverer would come and find the Creator's son, who, in turn, would save them all. Thrown into the fight of their lives, the four must work together to bring about a change in a dark and dangerous world. The mission the Deliverer has been given is a necessary one, a foreseen prophecy spoken of long ago. Therefore, Motch knows they are coming. And, as we all know, dragons love playing with their prey. This story follows the perspectives of multiple different characters. Each chapter will be a different character. Just a warning for the change of POVs. They will all be in first person as well. Angels are from a world they call Alzeria. Inside said world there are 7 types of Angels for each of the elements. Earth, Sky, Storm, Water, Ice, Fire, and Shadow. But inside this world there is a dark and mysterious eighth type of Angel. The Hollows. An almost zombie-like race in the north-east of Alzeria. This is where our story begins. Sky's father, Hermes, went missing a year ago in the Hollow territory. He hasn't been seen since. After the accident, Sky and her best friend Hibiscus, an Earth Angel, were sent with her family to Earth to begin her training and to let the family recover. While on Earth, traces of Hollows become more and more prominant. What are they planning? The next perspective follows the Fire Angel Princess Ashfire, known for her fiery personality and her excellent swordplay. But with shining complements come dark rumors. See, the Royal Family of the Fire Kingdom are known for their golden wings, but Ashfire was born with gold wings with blood red feathers dotting its surface. Ashfire also has a few secrets of her own that could place her and her disfunctional family at risk in the war waging between the Fire Kingdom and the Shadow Kingdom. What will become of her Kingdom? Andromeda is a training Water Mage in the Water Kingdom, trying to recover from past trauma that caused her father's death and an injury to her left arm. Why would she ever be dragged into a war she didn't start? Blitz and her family are known for their powerful Ice Magic that surpasses all other families in the Ice Kingdom. Her parents are strict and after an adventure into the Earth Kingdom, Blitz is trapped in her home. But why would her family want to be so succluded from the outside world? This happens after the city of heavenly fire.(In the Mortal Instruments series) She walks in gracefully and says with so much venom, that I flinch, "Sit down and listen." I obey, sensing a very wrong and dangerous vibe from her. She continues, "I am Ms. Smith but you will call me madam." I reply, "And I am Clar-" "I know who you are if not why would I have summoned that demon to kidnap you," she interrupts, glaring at me. I am shocked, why would this lady kidnap me. I am completely perplexed. She must have seen it on my face because she says, "You killed Jonathan Morgenstern when all he did was love you. I HATE YOU. If you weren't there he would have loved me. Now I will take your loved ones away from you." I am just about to reply when she sends electrifying green sparks towards me which make me lose consciousness. When I finally up she says, "I have cursed you. When you leave this house it will be the day of your sixteenth birthday again but this time Simon won't remember you and neither will your other friends especially your lover, Jace. If you get close to them then they will all die after a year. No other warlock can reverse this spell." Clary gets cursed one night by a certain vengeful warlock. That one night turns her whole world upside down. She has no one to trust, to depend on, to love. Will she survive this like she survived everything else or will she lose herself along the way? On top of that horrible sundae of a life there's a cherry of danger to top it off. More and more problems pile up on her plate and she is burdened with all of it. As usual she has to vanquish evil and save the world. Can she do it? Does love really conquer all and survive through the worst of odds? Read to find out!
