DNF college AU George is in the middle of his first year of college, but ends up transferring to a new school midyear. He's excited for the change, and hopes that this new university is the place where he'll finally fit in and get to be himself. Life is going fine for George until he starts feeling... weird. Everytime he talks to Dream, he gets butterflies- Yearning for the joyful sound of Dreams laugh- But, panic starts to set in. Their only best friends, right? George doesn't want anything more, at least he doesn't think. Fearing that these stupid feelings will ruin evrything, George decideds to take a break from the internet. Things in his life change. He loses his apatite. He loses sleep. And, hes losing his connection with Dream. Yet hes still panicking. As he starts to fall into a deep state of depression, he hears a knock at his door. "Who could that be" George groans as he walks across the cold, hard floor to the door. As he twists the handle, it creaks. Shock freezes his whole body. "Dream?!" Dream and George used to be best friends when there were little kids but Geroge's family moved away and he ended up forgetting about Dream, but Dream never forgot his best friend.
