Thirteen Colonies loved his Father, but after the Sevens' Year War, he wasn't sure if his father felt the same way. His Father just needed to listen to him. If he didn't, well, Thirteen and his Father weren't going to be on the same page or part of the same empire.

Because Thirteen could only take so much before he would take drastic action himself.
