Struggling to make ends meet, Nina is forced to work rigorous hours serving drinks at the local bar, all while trying to protect her baby girl from the perils of gang life. Recently widowed, Nina finds this harder than ever.

Aidan Castellano is a police officer in a city that never sleeps...but neither does he. Between all the murders and drug deals, the only "sleep" he finds is at the bottom of a coffee cup. 

One day, both courses collide in dire circumstances, and the two are forced into each others lives.
