Adah's and Dhruv's lives are different. The groups they hang out with are different. They have different personalities. Situations have never demanded they meet. Adah, the out-going extroverted famous girl of the college has never met Dhruv in any of the parties she has been to. Dhruv, the introverted and confident golden boy of the college has never met Adah in any of the study groups he has been to.
When Adah's friends challenge her to make Dhruv "fall" for her, she knows it is wrong. She promises to herself not to involve too much of herself into the relation, for she might as well develop feelings. And she's not really ready for a romantic relationship after her last one. But when she accepts the challenge (spit on the palm and shake hands), actually meets Dhruv, and manages to get his attention, can she stay strong on her promise?
