It is zero on the Kelvin scale, equivalent to –273.15°C or –459.67°F. Dr. Grayson Hunt is not much of an explorer. He much preferred to stay in his office, looking over star charts or even the heavens themselves. He's a genius when it comes to astronomy and engineering, even good enough to land him a job in NASA. But after the failed mission Icarus, the one he looked over and directed, Grayson doesn't have the heart to work anymore. Yet, the young scientist can't get the crash out of his head. The mission had been going perfectly, and then there was nothing. No debris, no static just silence. He knew that the woman who had piloted Icarus, Leutinent Danni Harris, wouldn't have just crashed. Something more was behind it, behind the silence. And he intended to find out.
