Musetta is of mysterious origins, raised and hidden by her father, the Phantom of the Opera, in his dark labyrinthine lair beneath the Opera Populaire. She is the daughter of the phantom of the opera. She was talented - adept with music and composing, but her voice is not what her father desired. His need for her to be his next Christine forms a dysfunctional, twisted relationship between father and daughter.
However, her feet are practically blessed, and with the generous help of the Giry's, she has become the most talented prima ballerina to grace the stage with her feet. When she is twenty, the Opera Populaire has finished its reconstruction and opens it doors to all of Paris once more. Musetta effortlessly gains the role of principal dancer, but she doesn't realize that her debut to the Parisian stage brings Alain De Changy, his parents in tow. He is an operatic tenor, innocent and far too curious for anyone's safety. As Musetta and Alain play a dangerous game where hearts are at stake in the opera house, the mysteries of their parents, the past, and the secrets they both hold come to center stage. Their story is the encore of their parents, but will it end the same?
