Marceline is a 21-year-old in love with the band "Rock Bottom Boyz" but mostly the lead guitarist October and when Marceline went to one of their concert for her birthday and bumps into October in a music store a couple weeks later and he asks her out on a date, Marceline wouldn't let this opportunity to be with him go, she'll do absolutely anything for him and to be with him and won't let anyone get in her way.

"October Brown you are the love of my life it's clear now that everything that was leading up to you was a test. . . a test I continued to fail on" I look away from my bloody hands and meet his eyes filled with disgust
and mine filled with tears.

This isn't the first time Marceline's feelings got too strong and took things too far, she has murdered someone but that was the 'old' her at least that's what her family continues to tell themselves, but deep down they know and even Marceline know she's still that same person it's just a matter of time till those feelings come back, but when they do come back it'll be stronger and more people will get hurt this time.
