The both of them create a close bond, and Nightmare explains how the villagers mistreats him and how they treasure Dream. Ink knew Dream for awhile, but Dream never mentions Nightmare. TWs!!! because I can't seem to tag them for some reason! abuse, mental health issues, torture, mental break downs, manipulation, all that fun stuff. This is NOT a lighthearted story! Nightmare had been alone in his head for the longest time. For 500 years he was able to gain more power, a castle, a gang, and a reputation of one of the most dangerous beings in the multiverse. But when Dream had broken out of stone, someone else made themselves known, someone who should have been dead. OR Corrupted Nightmare is a parasite and Passive Nightmare refuses to die.
