Shamara Arousi used to be a supersoldier.

But when she "Blipped," and returned, all who once controlled her were gone. So she fled to New York City where she could hide until she was certain Israel wasn't coming after her. Hide from everyone, even her friendly old, apartment landlady and especially the ex-military guy next door. Her strength faded. The drug that numbed her emotions faded. But something else took its place.

Now, desperation drives her out of hiding, right to the soldier who is more like her than she initially thought. Shamara joins Bucky and Sam in their quest to find the source of the new supersoldiers, hoping to find a cure along the way. Yet with each passing day, she longs for more than survival. Nothing is certain. Shamara and Bucky know it better than most people. But are they willing to be scared and uncertain and still choose each other?
