Angie, a 21 year old girl who's boyfriend, Dimitri, had just broken up with her. She's doing fine, until Dimitri texted her on the day of her best friend, Rosalie, Mother's rehearsal dinner for her wedding. Which is when her ex texts her and asks a strange question she wasn't expecting to hear.
"When is your period?"
She stops in her tracks, realizing it was meant to stop a while ago. She puts it all together; craving for PB&J- she hates peanut butter. Her period is late. She isn't planning on explaining it to Rosalie, let alone her parents.
Dimitri was never the type of boy to not use a condom. He was respectful and cared a lot for Angie. He was excited, and couldn't wait. When the time came, he didn't remember to put one on.
