"Dear Addie, You're never going to read this, but I like you. A lot."

It's been decades since Gail thought of him and their failed relationship. She thought she'd decided not to think about him ever again, but as time falls faster through her fingertips, he's all she can think about. As Gail dwells on the regrets, highs, lows, tears and dreams of her youth, she slowly begins to accept the inevitable.

Ever since Adam's near-fatal accident, he hasn't been the same. He lives, old, happy, with his wife, children and grandchildren, his memory still damaged and in fragments from that fateful day. But when memories start to return, he realises why he's been feeling like he's been missing something all his life. With a handful of letters and a conflicted conscience, can he find her again before she leaves for good?

"She still thinks of him, even after all this time. He can't remember who she was."
