Skyra woke in a blacked put cage that was moving violently upwards with her three older brothers, Ace, Fenn, and Dyke. When the cage comes to a stop, the top is pulled open and they are faced with a group of boys staring down at them, all shocked to the core.
Finding themselves stuck in a maze, the siblings have no memories except their names and that they are siblings... And that they are Elementals. Each born with the ability to control an element, as long as they have the one and only stone that allows them to do so. Skyra has been gifted the earth element, wearing a bright green stone on a root looking bracelet on her left wrist.
While everyone in the maze is treating Skyra differently because she is a girl, everyone but her brothers and two other people for different reasons, they all soon except her as an equal, and Skyra has committed to a life in the maze.
Until 2 and a half years later when Thomas comes into the maze and is nothing but curious about the maze, and refuses to follow the rules.
And then Teresa comes. A girl. And she has a note.
She's the last one ever.
