Since mankind was created (which is not known for certain), the Freengs protect it more than themselves. The truth is that this is their only purpose in life, they were made only to protect us from demons that insist on having the end of planet Earth.
.some Freengs are stubborn and revolt with others, refusing to protect the planet, fortunately only 0.2% of the guardians dare to do so, because they know that if they do, they will become demons and will never have peace.
