After all the villain attack on UA's training camp,1A and every other class in UA are moved into the dorms to give their parents a piece of mind that their kids are being watched by heroes constantly and kept safe. 

Unfortunately, that means the teachers have to leave their own homes also. This includes Present Mic and Aizawa. Since he has no other choice, Aizawa moves their son into the dorms with him.
