The Helium wars have left massive destructions on earth, and Better Living industries have managed to enslave the brains of the whole population. Only the group of rebels called Killjoys are capable of returning freedom to the world. 
Hinata, a naïve young man who lost everything, has great dreams and decides to join the resistance and make a difference.

But in a world where the water is scarce and enemies are lurking in every corner, how long will he be able to stay alive?

This fic is based on the comic by Gerard Way, the vocalist of My Chemical Romance it goes by the name of "The true lives of the fabulous killjoys".
