Book Two of the "Immortal Love" series. Julie Brown, an outgoing New Zealander who loves travelling and having a good time, finds nothing more boring than the thought of being tied down to one location, or worse; a man. That's why she jumps at the opportunity when her parents agree to finance one year of travelling on the condition that she takes a location-based Greek Mythology course with her twin brother. After forming a new friendship that leads to a newly found work-ethic and a lot of studying, Julie celebrates with a club-night in Mykonos, ending up in bed with her professor's attractive friend. It isn't a big deal at first, but when she learns that her seemingly-normal one night stand is a major figure from her mythology course, everything she's ever believed in starts to change.

36 parti Completa
[COMPLETED - ONLY MINORLY EDITED] ******************************************************** Greek myths - true or false? They should be false, and to 16-year-old Sophie Claire, it's never crossed her mind that they aren't. Until one day in History class when her teacher spends a day on Greek mythology and something strange starts happening - her friends and classmates begin to tell myths about certain Greek deities with frightening precision. And for some reason, she's began to feel a certain affinity for Persephone, the Greek maiden who was kidnapped by Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, and forced into a marriage with him. This isn't some coincidence or freak dream, she later finds out from a host of strange individuals who claim they're from Olympus, the grandoise home of the gods themselves. She is actually a modern reincarnation of the goddess Persephone, and she's not the only one. A few of her classmates also happen to represent the gods and goddesses from popular Greek myths, and the fact that all of them are present means that something monumental is about to happen. Something like being the girl to change Persephone's future, to break the cycle of kidnapper and victim - all by passing a trial. It won't be simple, she knows, and she's not quite that eager to take it up, but from the moment she found out that she was Persephone, there was no way to back out. She should've known, however, that dealing with all powerful, immortal deities wasn't going to be easy. They've got a few secrets and personality flaws up their sleeves, and they could be deadly. More than deadly - murderous.

29 parti Completa
As the Goddess of Ghosts, Melinoë struggled to make friends growing up that weren't already dead. Melinoë, the only child of Hades and Persephone, the rulers of the Underworld, is a few centuries shy of her two-thousandth birthday, yes she's never been in a relationship, had her first kiss or the other things that follow. When she's paired up as a bridesmaid with Marcus, the broken-hearted groomsman, she's drawn to their similarities. As their friendship grows and Marcus starts self-medicating his sadness, she's asked to spend more time with him and help him get back on track considering she's the only one that can seem to make him smile lately. Marcus Brown is a mortal, twin-brother to Julie Brown who is friends-with-benefits with Hermes, a greek god. He's also friends with Danika Evantin, formally Warren, a new goddess and soulmate of Apollo, who also happened to be his old Classics professor, Dr. Paul Evantin. Marcus has been in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend Molly for nearly a decade, but when she suddenly breaks up with him without an explanation and ghosts him, he's heartbroken and doesn't deal with the breakup well. With Danika and Apollo's wedding around the corner, Marcus and Melinoë are introduced as wedding-party partners. Will the growing friendship with the Goddess of Ghosts be the perfect distraction to help Marcus heal from the ghosts of his past, or will it only make things worse as new feelings start to form? Find out in Melinoë's Ghost, Book Three of the Immortal Love series!

"Kiss me." He whispers. "I-I don't know how...I've never done this before." I frantically whisper and tilt my head. My nose slightly brushes against his, and all of my instincts tell me to dive into him with the most passionate kiss I could create. I wanted to be closer, and feel every part of him against me. "Can I kiss you?" He asks through an intoxicating whisper. His lips teasingly hover over mine, and without thinking I finally press my lips against his. His lips matched mine perfectly like a puzzle, and I wrap my arms around his neck to pull him closer. His hands trail up my back, and the euphoric bursts of pleasure take my senses into over drive. He starts to part his lips, and his tongue slowly enters through my lips to play with mine. He tastes of sweet wine, and I feel my hands sliding up to grip his hair. I let out a slight moan into his lips, and my breath grows heavy. We part for a gasp of air before meeting back with more of my muffled moans. A faint thud-like sound catches my attention, and I start to pull away to see what made the sound. My lips retreat, and I take a faint breath before clearing my mind to think logically. As I pull away, his lips simply continue to kiss my chin and down my cheek. Another gasp slips from my lips, and this one echos through the hall. "I..I think...I...I heard something." I whisper as quietly as possible. He lightly pulls away to take a small breath before smiling. "I didn't hear anything. It's nothing." He pushes aside.... During the ancient times of Greece, lives the daughter of Demeter, Persephone. All her life has been sheltered from the mortal and immortal world. When her desire for a taste of freedom goes too far, she seals a deal with a man she will never escape... Enjoy this retelling of the Greek myth of Hades and Persephone! This is one of my favorite Greeks myths, and comment if you have any feedback! I'd love to hear from you 🖤

What would you do if, after getting drunk in a party and passing out somewhere you don't remember, you woke up in a cart that is pulled by a horse with two people speaking weird language and wearing white sheets over their bodies? You panic, obviously. Era never believed in Gods and magic. Why? Because it wasn't explained by scientists. She doesn't even change her view when she is thrown down the time hole and back to the ancient Greece -time when people believed in everything, especially Gods of the Olympus. But her talk of "Gods don't exist" lands her into a festival of the Gods - a festival where people marked by one of the Gods of the Olympus fight for their life by performing something sociated with the god that they represent. And she is supposed to survive when she is marked by the God of the Underworld himself.
