Titania is waiting to go to her friends house, for her thirteenth birthday, when a weird looking owl steals her journal that she got for her birthday, that was left by her father, whom she's never met. She follows this owl through a portal door with another human, Luz, to a weird world, The Boiling Isles. When Luz left the boiling isles something snapped in amity and it's that same force that drives her now.
