Dancing With Death

TEMPORARILY ON HOLD.
I didn't trust him. Not even a little. I'd seen enough of people to know that their only purpose is to use, abuse, and discard others. Man haunts history with his evil, and I have to deal with the aftermath.
But I couldn't pretend I wasn't curious about this man, in particular.
That's why, when he offered me his hand through the rubble and flames that surrounded us, I took it.
