#92 in Assassin ~ "So why are you following me, hm?" She looked around for any excuse she could find, eyes landing on the carefully carved sign just above the prince's head. "Came for a bottle of wine." "Wine?" he asked, rolling his eyes at the piss poor excuse she'd so promptly concocted, giving Dahlia the split second she needed to slip past the man. She didn't wait to see how long it'd take him to catch up, hearing him curse behind her as she sprinted back down the back alley she'd taken before. She could see her horse standing idly at the hitch she'd left him at as she skidded around the corner. Just as she swung into the large horse's saddle Loki scrambled out of the alley, meeting her eyes just as she got her feet in the stirrups. She held his gaze for a moment, a mischievous smirk curling across her lips. "Too slow, your majesty," she laughed, seeing him tilt his head in curiosity before she spurred her horse's sides. The stallion whinnied before galloping off, carrying a shaken Dahlia further into the night. ~~~ Dahlia is an Asgardian nomad, preferring to wander the realms rather than live the monotonous life of an Asgardian commoner. At 934, she's a skilled assassin and generally sticks to low flying jobs as well as she can, making enough money to feed her drinking habit and general nomadic lifestyle. It's when she comes across a contract to kill the one and only Loki Laufeyson that she decides to throw caution to the wind and vie everything for the billions of credits over the Prince's head. ~ This is my first fanfiction in a long time but I'm high lit so I'm not super worried. I plan to update as often as possible and will generally try and keep you guys informed as to what's going on in the writing world. I will link the google doc where you guys can keep progress on the book if you'd like but otherwise you are clear to begin reading :D
