Runa Ulf is a half Shifter and half Skin-Changer with a dark past that haunts her. She never speaks of it and is scared to get close to any one. She joins the Company by request of Gandalf and want of adventure. Along the way she learns and sees things that change her forever. Will she open up? Will the quest succeed? Can a young dark haired dwarf help her? Will she find her mate?

(A/N: I only own Runa and bits of the story I add in and her people the Shifters. Also I might make a reference to my other story Guiding Hope, only because the kingdom of Ayrith is kind of like another kingdom for the Shifters, but that is the only reference and connection to that story, they have nothing else to do with each other.
