Hundreds of years ago, Earth fell apart, leaving only the utmost privileged to start anew on the already-inhabited planet Selino. But internal conflict may drive this second world to crumble as well... unless eight teenagers can find the magical, mythical sources and set right the course of the world. After the frenzied events of the Almoons Festival, everyone is regrouping - and no one knows who to trust. The rana source is in the clutches of an unknown variable. Damon is being held hostage. Even Jared's journals may not be safe in this devastating sequel.

With no clues to other sources and people trying to block them at every turn, the two groups make their ways off of Altiu - in opposite directions - to search for the sources... though the clues they gather may end up leading them right back to where they started. And when the two groups finally collide, at a governmental convention no less?
