For many years, Vincent Van Gogh has been someone that really inspires me to work harder in my career, in my life. His works of art captivate me and the teachings he left behind are remarkable.
I've decided to speak to him directly, to write to him as he wrote to his brother Theo throughout his life.
As crazy as it sounds, I know he is reading my letter as we speak.

After her parents died, Erika didn't care about anything. Not her friends, not school, nothing. Except for her art. Painting was the only thing that she felt kept her close to her mother, terrified that sharing it meant she would lose her for good. This year was her final year and her aunt forced her to take an art class. Erika promised to try and open up a bit more. Who knew, maybe this is what she needed to find her passion. Find that love her mother said was the secret to her greatest paintings. And rumor was, the new art teacher from Dublin had everyone talking. Stefan grew up tough. His father was an alcoholic that forced him into rugby while his mother was a tough bitch who wanted him to teach as she did. Sketching was the only place he felt he could show his emotions. His mother kicked out his father after he beat the bloody daylights out of his son for wanting to be an artist. Being an art teacher was the best compromise to do what he wanted and please his mother. Right out of university, he took a job at some private school in Paris. This was going to be his fresh start. Hopefully helping these rich kids to find their passion for art would help himself. But all his plans blew out the window when he walked in the first day of class to see Erika Monet sitting silently at her desk, those stunning silver eyes staring right into his very core. He knew student relationships where a bad idea, but she had just stolen his heart and he was helpless against it.

They call me Epiphany, all my life I have been on the run, running, from place to place, from here to there. I have dreams, lots of them, I used to cry sometimes, even though I am a strong heart-filled woman with a strong soul inside, full of sugar-coated bulletproof, that cannot break. I work as an exotic dancer at a club, and on the side, I sell myself and my soul. I promised myself I would stop, but I can't because I am running from my past life, and that I am trying to use the money I make to pay for College to get a degree. I dance for the crowd, but mainly I dance for me. It just so happened one night changed my life, when I met a man, no, not a man, a monster, the devil. He showed up on the wrong side of town.
