He was standing in front of the bonfire wearing a black blazer and pants with black leather Gucci shoes. Holding a scotch glass he sipped the pale yellow liquid. I looked down on my hands not really wanting to hear his voice. he had already made me sign marriage papers forcefully and placed a nuptial chain and wedding ring on me despite my contempt.

"You have 365 days to fall in love with me. But even if after that your heart still does not change then--"

I looked at him hoping he would say that he would let me go but who was I kidding to? He looked at me and for the first time I saw a strange kind of emotion in his cold eyes. Was it fear?

"I would still claim you so you don't have any choice, Amore."

He left, not before ordering the servant to take me to my room. As I ascended the huge stairs of the mansion my eyes brimmed with tears knowing that the four walls will be the bars of my cage that will never let me go.
