This story is 100% fiction and my interpretation of what could have happened. I do not own any of these characters, all that credit belongs to Shonda Rhimes and other writers of Grey's Anatomy.

What if Callie was the one who cheated on Arizona?
You only have the love of your life once, what if Callie wasn't hers like Arizona once thought?
Who will fix a very broken Arizona Robbins when she still isn't completely healed after returning to work?

The plane crash happened, but not the way it really happened in Grey's. Derek did break his hand badly, and Arizona did lose her leg. Mark and Lexie do NOT die. They are some of my favorite character's so I would never cut them if I didn't have to. In my story, Sofia does not exist because I simply cannot write about a custody battle if that happens in my story. Watching it on Grey's was enough for me to never want me to relive it.

Some characters are going to come earlier than they are in actual Grey's, mostly because I love them so much that I simply cannot forget them. Some plots or details do not exactly correspond with the seasons as again, it is fiction, so anything is on the table.

You may find some familiar questions from various characters being used for other characters, but they are so iconic and interchangeable. I hope you enjoy, this is my first fanfic , I have read a bunch and wanted to put in my two cents on what could have happened!Tous Droits Réservés

You are going to be the new Head of Pediatrics at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital as the current one is stepping down to pursue Fetal Surgery and the other candidate would prefer to stay an Attending Pediatric Surgeon. Your brother/twin is Alexander Karev and is the attending that didn't take the job. We will say you haven't seen your twin in 17 years. You also go by Dr. Karev. So things will get very interesting for you both. You were best friends when you were younger since you were twins. Can you get back to the same you once were? You come with years of experience with the intention on focusing on your work and continuing to improve the Pediatric Surgery department when someone comes and sweeps you off your feet. Who will it be? We will say this can be assumed to start in season 12, Arizona becoming a fetal surgeon gets pushed back a season. Callie has already moved to New York and, Sofia does not exist until later. Along with my other book, I refuse to write about a custody battle. Breaks my heart. There will be many scenarios that are made up and they are my own interpretation. This is fiction, so that is the point! When you see 'Y/n' that means you insert your name in there. Grey's Anatomy Callie and Arizona fan fiction. - Following Season 12 - ::Notice - in this version MARK IS ALVIE:: Arizona did not know what she was going to do without her baby girl and the love of her life for the first semester of Sofia's school in New York. She got Sofia for Christmas, but she had five months until she was to see her baby again. She wasn't sure the next time she would see Calliope. All she knew was that she was miserable and alone, but she would do anything to make her Calliope happy. Even if it meant sending her away to be with someone she loves with Arizona's daughter. They were on the plane. Surprisingly, Calliope didn't feel the goosebumps or the butterflies she expected to get on her way to live with Penny. Maybe she just needed to see Penny to get excited. But right now, she just felt... nauseated. Something was not right, but she just couldn't put her finger on it. Shrugging off the strange feeling, she buckles Sofia and herself up, and she looks out the window during take off. Goodbye Arizona. She thinks to herself. "Oh Penny." She says. Story starts after George cheats on Callie with Izzie but before Addison leaves for Los Angeles (mid-end Season 3). I saw an edit on TikTok about this concept and couldn't get it out of my head. Also if there are drawing along the story, you can ignore it. I only wanted an excuse to draw them. This is my first story so it might not be the best but I'll try!
