Love can taste like light lemon tea. It can also taste like slightly bitter coffee. It really depends on the person's preference. They might like something sweet, or something a bit bitter to their taste. Though, in coffee, we have the power to add sugar or cream to change its taste. Still, there are consequences. Too much sugar, it'll make it too sweet. Too much cream, it'll lose the presence of the coffee. Those are consequences that people sometimes got used to. At the End of the Day
[COMPLETED] "We both agreed, Apollo! We said no feelings, no attachments! You promised you wouldn't get attached." I look down at my lap in worry and shame. I have no idea what to say, I promised her, but like an idiot I broke that promise. "Say something!" My breath hitches and I look up at my beautiful girl through my lashes, my eyes brimming with tears because I know after tonight we won't be seeing each other again. I stand up from the edge of the bed and walk over to her, watching as her chest moves up and down harshly with each breath. My eyes trail over the love marks I left moments ago when we were happy to only get lost in each other's arms temporarily. She's mad at me. I never wanted her to be mad at me. "I'm sorry, baby," I whisper reaching forward to run my finger along her cheek catching the falling tear that flows down her soft skin. "You promised." She whispers. I know. "I promise I'm not attached, Blue." Too late. ••• Apollo and Blue have a few things in common. They're both lonely, they're both sad and they both attend the same university, a place where they stumble upon each other for the first time. So when the two decide to keep each other company by forming a causal relationship, the hard-headed Blue sets clear instructions for Apollo. [Slow Brew Series 1 of 2] [Completed] Look, I didn't mean to embarrass myself the first time I walked into Brewing Grounds. Or the second. Or...every other time since. But something about the place-and the barista with the messy ponytail and the glasses that she pushes up her nose-makes me forget how to form actual sentences. Bea. Her name's Bea. The one thing she does look forward to is going to cafe de l'amour every morning on her way to school, where she sits and writes, all while seeing Carter Reed. The most popular boy at school who, surprisingly, prefers the solitary life. They go to the same cafe every day, sit at the same tables every day, and notice each other every day, yet are strangers who have never uttered a word to one another. And strangers they shall remain. Perfect strangers. But that's about to change. . . . . .
