A world of well dressed, well groomed people. Not a hair out of place. Not a blemish. Not a scar. A world where looking or being messy is punishable by death. A perfectionist society.

Kate lives her life in Adamo, a society of perfect people. Her life has been laid perfectly out in front of her, shiny and regulated and easy, but Kate longs for freedom. She wants to run and let her hair down, but a having a rebellious streak in Adamo is dangerous.

Tim has grown up in the midst of a secret rebel group hidden on the outskirts of Adamo. He's been trained to hate the country, to hate its morals and its compliant people. He can fight, and he wants to join his brother in taking down the perfectionist government that rules over Adamo.
