This is a story of boy meets girl. 

The boy, Bucky Barnes, finds himself thrown into a world that seems so different from everything he's ever known. Growing up, Bucky had not a doubt in his mind that his undeniable charm and his gorgeous smile would one day help him find the one. Now he realizes there's so much more to romancing women, especially those from the 21st century. 

The girl, Ellie O'Hara, knows entirely too much about rom-coms and is quite particular about the way she eats her popcorn. 

Bucky meets Ellie a few months after returning to NYC. He knows almost immediately that becoming her friend is inevitable.
