"Fancy meeting you here, Kaima." The sardonicism laced in his tone is beyond sickening.

I just can't believe it; he is standing right here before me. It is not a mirage. The times I had caught glimpses of him, I thought that perhaps I had started seeing things but I wasn't. He is really here.

"Who's Kaima?" Kiki finally asks. Her voice holds traces of uncertainty, doubt and I don't blame her. I haven't been completely honest with her after all.

I open my mouth to speak but no words come out. It is as though an invinsible force prevents me from speaking, forcing the words back down.

I feel my lungs tighten, they constrict painfully within me. It has suddenly become too hard to breathe as I look from Kiki to him and back to her.

Next to get affected is my vision. It gets so blurry as oxygen is literally being squeezed out of me. A full on panic attack hits me but that is not my major worry. He is.

He has come to torment me again, to destroy my life once more...

We are all broken in our own way, some more than others. There is a past that damaged us and experiences that shattered us. It's often a wonder if there really is a way forward when shit hits the fan.

Do we struggle to be fixed?

Do our bleeding hearts ever fully heal?

The depression we fall into, does it ever really go away?

Do we ever let go of this gut-wrenching past?

Does the guilt and trauma that come with the past torment us to literal death?

All these translates to one simple question:
