"Life = Fight" is a book that features a variety of poems that touch on the fight of young adult life. From relationships to love to family to school and everything around and in between. These poems were originally my way of fighting the battle of life but with the encouragement, input & opinions of others, I've come to realize they may help others too. I now give you the key to the pain, sorrow, hope & resilience that is my fight which while reading in some way might become yours too. I guarantee you will relate to at least one thing in this book. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken.
