The friendly, coastal town of Warrenpoint holds a secret.
Alice Bethany has the perfect life working as a teacher in the city and laughing with her sympathetic boyfriend, a lawyer called Barry Thornton.
However, when she finds a weathered knife in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Bethany family.
A Halloween party leaves Alice with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to mysterious Warrenpoint to find some answers.
At first the people of Warrenpoint are articulate and friendly. She is intrigued by the curiously helpful lawyer, Roger Blunder. However, after he introduces her to hard meth, Alice slowly finds herself drawn into a web of fraud, burglary and perhaps, even assassination.
Can Alice resist the charms of Roger Blunder and uncover the secret of the weathered old knife before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another Warrenpoint legend?

The first few months are terrible, and it only gets worse as he gets no word from Alex. No sign of him that could possibly give him some strength to go on. After more months, he loses his hope, killing everyone around as if that would make anything better. Nigel gets locked up in an asylum, declared for mentally unstable: charged for many, many murders. And since he doesn't ages, they keep him for experiments. Since they are very religious in there, they believe it's the Devil his son. The doctors around are trying anything to get that boy out of Nigel his mind, and when they don't succeed, they decide to use electroshock therapy for that. Strangely enough a patient passes by during Nigel his therapy. A suspicious girl that always wants to know everything that's going around.
