In the vast underground, humans buried themselves to hide from the vicious monsters that lurked above. After years of living in terror and scavenging for scraps, their world comes crumbling down at the hands of their own kin. 

First line inspired by @tasting_stars "Supervillain and Me," which is one of the best books I've read.
