In this What If/Possible Future Sonic The Hedgehog has become King of the planet Mobius/Earth and the rest of the galaxy has experienced a benevolent era of peace and prosperity. While everyone is enjoying their daily lives in peace a catastrophic phenomenon in the fabric of time and space threatens all life on Mobius, Cybertron and the galaxy.

While King Sonic, his friends and allies as well as his brothers Delvargus Kong Junior and Joseph Kirkpatrick try to fix the time steam itself, tears in the space time continuum begin to develop causing massive damage to all lifeforms.

During this time, Tails and Cosmo grow close and feelings start to develop, as does a sisterly bond between Cosmo, Creecha's daughter Grace, and Wallflower Blush, but with the Metarex War going on and Cosmo's own insecurities surfacing after facing a lot of trauma, those bonds will be tested as they travel through space to end the war once and for all. This world's version of Sonic The Hedgehog was the one chosen to take the "super-soldier serum" and become the Meta-Zone's first Super-Möbian. However, with a chance turn of events, Y/n is miraculously turned into the super-soldier and takes on the codename "Captain Möbius" as he uses his newfound powers and abilities to save his world. However, the aftermath of a final battle for his world leaves him stranded on Mobius-Prime. Knowing this isn't his home, but it's still in danger, Y/n allies himself with the Mobius-Prime's Freedom Fighters to save their world from the iron grasp of the evil Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik.

A rebellion has formed in the kingdom of Mobius. Led by the determined Shadow the Hedgehog, a group of assembled bandits have assembled to dethrone the current ruler: Miles "Tails" Prowler. With the defenders of the kingdom strained thin, the victory seems eminent. Until a deformed, metal-coated warrior steps forward to meet the threat. Sonic the Hedgehog. Follow Sonic and Shadow as the two heroes fight for true rule over the kingdom of Mobius, and claim what each truly believes to be justice. Fall into Chaos is meant to be my love-letter to the series. While this can still be enjoyed with a minimal understanding of the series, it does help to know your stuff! The story is meant to really unravel the characters of the franchise I love. Really highlight their flaws, strengths, motivations, all that. And it was fun imagining a darker tone to Sonic the Hedgehog, like seeing a meaningful struggle for Sonic *coughcoughSonicForcescough*. Lastly, trust me, I know what this is. A Sonic fan story. But, don't worry. The fan characters are non-existent...kinda. The story is actually cohesive, makes for what I truly think is a thought-provoking, genuinely fun story! With plenty of Sonic's trademark cheesiness and personality. So with all that being said, please. Enjoy Fall into Chaos.
