After a 5 year old Roman is in a car crash killing his parents he bounces through foster homes before finally landing with a distant relative, Logan.

Logan had no intention or want to take care of a child but takes Roman in any way.

Roman was scared of Logan and his new house especially after everything he's been through so now when he starts seeing 2 boys that no one else can see or hear he starts to get scared

The twins don't have their own home so they live with Logan. And one day, really randomly, a knock on the door had gotten their attention. Like a normal person, Logan answered the door. He was confused when he seen a card board box about half his size with tiny holes in the top and a letter taped to it. Logan opened the letter and read it. "Dear Whomever, These two may be a handful at times but they are the best kids one could ask for. Patton is the little boy wearing the light blue shirt and a light gray blanket with glasses. Virgil is the one with the short sleeve purple shirt and head phones, Music keeps him calm. They are complete opposites. Patton is the happy and curious one, while on the other hand, Virgil is the introvert who doesn't like people.. Please take care of them!! ~Sincerely, Anonymous." Virgil, the love of Prince Roman's life got banished. Three years later the Light Sides and The Dark Sides go into war. They see each other again and back come the feelings although Virgil pushes him away. Both want peace, both want love. Can't this be happily ever after? Logan and Patton are the parents of the adopted 3 year old twins Remus and Roman. Dean (Deceit) is a single father of adopted 3 year old Virgil, who just moved in to the house across the street. Virgil, though only 3, deals with extreme anxiety, he's a slow learner so he doesn't talk very much and rarely, if not ever, leaves Dean's side and has developed trust issues and PTSD due to the incident that caused them to move in the first place. Unfortunately due to the new circumstances, Dean now has to work so that they can afford to live and is unable to afford for Virgil to go to daycare. Since Patton is a stay at home dad and was very friendly the first time meeting, Dean puts Virgil in his care also hoping that it will help Virgil with his social skills and being around other kids his age. This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go? Logan, Roman, Patton, Virgil, Remus, and Janus belong to Thomas Sanders.
