They had been and always will be completely wrong for each other. Stefan, an immortal vampire who has existed for over a century and Elena, a mere fetus in comparison - still in her teens. On paper, they were completely and undeniably wrong. But their love was epic. It transcended all the love stories ever told- It was truly one for the history books. That was, at least, until Stefan's equally ancient brother Damon was infected with werewolf toxins and Stefan was forced to relive the darkest times in his history.
After a year under Klaus' compulsion and a subsequent year spent in self loathing Stefan has finally returned to Mystic Falls in search of one person.
When everything goes wrong and hope is lost, can love bring them back to eachother once more? Or is history destined to repeat itself?
