Would I have still said yes, had I known that accepting that job offer would mean so much more than just a decent paycheck?
Would I have still said yes, had I known that I would fall in love and have my heart shattered to pieces in the process?
Would I have still said yes, had I known that Matthew Winston Harrison meant nothing but trouble?
But, oh boy, he was so intriguing.

To bystanders he seemed selfish, ignorant and narcissistic. Maybe he really was all those things, but to me he was different.
I saw a broken and misunderstood soul where others saw a machine without feelings.
I saw the face of a man that once belonged to a boy with dreams and hopes, a boy who had not been allowed to be a child, where others saw only power and money combined with a harsh attitude.
I saw a heart that needed to be loved so desperately by an equal to his being where others saw a sarcastic smile that only took a liking to switching his bed partners.
