Sirens only mate once... and it's a matter of life and death. Love is a word that means oppression to sirens. But when Iridessa begins falling for the human she's supposed to kill... everything changes. • • • Sirens were created then cast aside by one man, his name a curse in Iridessa's world. He made them ugly, useless, unable to care for themselves. But they adapted. And they conquered. Men are on the menu for Iridessa's pod, those they don't mark for mating with the pearls embedded in their hips. You see, sirens only mate once in their lifetime, and once they choose a mate, they must wait until his body is ready for hers--and kill him. Iridessa has finally marked her mate, a strikingly pale male with white hair. But when she finally finds him, he's not at all like what her pod told her men were like. Men are supposed to be rough and callous and treat women like filth, but Elijah... He's the most gentle person she's ever met. After striking a deal with the young Prince Elijah, Iridessa knows she'll be in hot water if her pod finds out, but it isn't long until their hearts start to beat as one. She can't--she won't spill his blood. Not killing a man after mating is punishable by death. The clock is ticking. And death is just around the corner. • • • When tides rise, we hold our breath. • • • Complete [[part 1: ripple word count: 45,000-50,000]] [[part 2: swell word count: 50,000-55,000]] [[part 3: crest word count: 45,000-50,000]] [[part 4: crash word count: 45,000-50,000]] [[total word count: 195,000-200,000]]

Carried to a fantasy future by a dark-eyed, time-traveling stranger, can Leonor overcome the guilt that haunts her and fulfill her destiny... while navigating her growing attraction to her newfound protector? Leonor, a student at present-day Harvard, would do anything for the people she holds dear: her roommates, her beloved little brother - and the brilliant but eccentric Professor Mosey, the mentor to whom she faithfully delivers meals three times a day while he conducts secret chemistry experiments that have earned him the nickname The Batty Professor. One night, Leonor's world is shattered when mysterious and deadly spies arrive at Professor Mosey's office to steal the discovery he made just hours earlier: a chemical solution that, when consumed, allows humans to time-travel. When Leonor becomes the spies' next target, she has no escape - until a man with midnight-black eyes whisks her three hundred years into the future. There, she discovers a world whose most powerful figure harbors dark plans to use Professor Mosey's time-travel solution to transform all of reality: past, present, and future. Plans that can be stopped, if at all, only by a secret that Leonor possesses. To prevent her enemy's designs from taking shape, Leonor will need the help of the newfound protector who carried her to the future, a man defined by his rigidly disciplined nature. Together, the two must navigate a city of elites, servants, mysteries, and masquerade balls. Their quest will require them to confront painful secrets from their own pasts, but Leonor is determined to do whatever it takes to save the world from doom. To save her family and friends. And to save the man with whom she has begun to share an attraction as unexpected as it is undeniable and irresistible. New parts post every Friday. The very first two parts run long, then the parts become shorter. Hope you enjoy it!

Seven Lost Lords: The Anomaly

34 parts Ongoing

~It isn't easy being an anomaly.~ The Aetyrim are a magical Faerie race, born with magic and hues of all kinds. But a divide lies between them, in the form of Black and White manes. So when Aven Elsgard, an albino aetyr without magic, is chosen by the Crown Prince to go to the Capital, she is at first both bewildered and ecstatic for what lies ahead. But she is encountered by an ancient spirit, one who claims to have lived at the time of when the seven gods still roamed the land, and she must make a choice- one that could save or threaten the world of Aetyria forever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Welcome to Aetyria! This is the first of (presumably) a trilogy, following the adventures of Aven and Dukalis, a ragtag team of Aetyrim on a quest to find the Seven lost gods and get rid of racism forever!
