The short summary is 'What if Descendants 2 had more drama and less kid feel. What if D2 has less DCOM feel and more in-your-feels. What if I continued to make you cry over Marinette and Adrien being in love.' The long summary is something else entirely.
Marinette is not dealing well with the changes that comes with being declared a Lady of the Court and all of the watchful eyes that come with that. Her friends are prospering, enjoying their lives in the land of plenty that is the United State of Auradon while she feels like she's drowning in a lake of confusion. She feels like a bird in a gilded cage and more than anything, she wants to be free - no matter what that may take.
Adrien is drowning in his own responsibilities and always on the move. Being king has meant he's had to take on an entirely new set of problems as well as lost track of Marinette in the process assuming that everything is fine. But when Marinette finally flies the coop, he realizes just how wrong he was and embarks on a journey no Auradon king has ever dared - he's traveling to the Isle of the Lost.
They're being pushed and pulled in too many directions to count with new enemies threatening to tear them apart entirely. Will they be strong enough to weather the storm that's come to sweep them away?

Based on the Series by K.A. Linde, Blood Type, Blood Match, and Blood Cure. I fell in love with this series and as I was reading it, I felt that the miraculous characters could fit in perfectly. I have taken the concept of the story, made some changes based on how the characters in miraculous would behave and hopefully created a miraculous version that is good enough for the original books. When the economy crumbled fifteen long years ago, Marinette and her family fell into the depression unable to revive their past lifestyle. Marinette's parents kept the bakery open but were barley getting by. Feeding three mouths in this economy was incredibly difficult. Marinette even had to give up her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Now at 19 Marinette is able to be tested for eligibility to work for Panacea, a company run by vampires, becoming a vampire's companion as they called it, which really means you are a blood bag at their every beck and call. Upon being selected for employment, Marinette is placed with the gorgeous Adrien Agreste, Vice President and son Panacea's President and owner, Gabriel Agreste. This story is full of soulmates, vampires, and powerful adversaries. Miraculous magic, in kwami form, does not exist, but it is important to this series. Read to find out how our protagonist navigate the world of vampires and humans when magical blood properties influence everything. There will be three stories if this first one goes well, I will continue. This first story will be completed. This story will be rate Mature for sexual content, violence and language later on. Le Chat et Le Serpent
Adrien works to heal himself after the death of his father. Even after the death of Gabriel, his power still remains, hindering Adrien's ability to move forward. As he finds solace with Luka, the one holder that knows his identity, he struggles with who he wants to be - who Luka wants him to be. Marinette begins to unravel with her own guilt and wavering direction of her heart and it starts to affect her duties as Ladybug. This story takes place over an extended period of time and will have a significant focus on the rings. The movement of what we learn about the rings will aid to demonstrate the four basic parts of the story. 1. The effect of the rings. Please note that the first part (which is transitioning as I type this summary) is highly focused on "setting the stage". Everyone Needs a Safe Place
Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir. They had grown apart since his mother's disappearance. Adrien always tried to speak with his father and try but he was always busy or away. He finally snapped at his father. But where would he go for the night? He had to find someone he could trust. Marinette wasn't expecting Chat Noir to show up on her balcony with red eyes filled with tears. Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place. Not because she's a picky person but more of because she has a heart of gold, willing to help everyone, everyone BUT Adrien. Both hated each other, probably the one thing they have in common. It changed when they were assigned dorms, lucky for Marinette she got the one and only Player of the entire school. Will the two finally find out the reason behind each other's actions?
